I take all bookings treatments through the booking app acuity.
Card details will be taken at point of booking, to cover for no-show/late cancellation (see cancellation policy) but no payment will be taken until after your appointment.
An online consultation form should be completed prior to your appointment, otherwise, time will be allocated to filling out a physical, in-person form prior to treatment.

I require 24 hours notice for cancellation of any appointment, this enables me to offer the time slot to another client. I understand things can pop up so if you need to re-schedule please contact me directly.
If you do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the price for your appointment.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the price for your appointment.

Massage therapy is a close contact treatment by nature and as such I treat the health and wellbeing of myself and my clients very seriously.
If I happed to be unwell I will cancel your appointment giving you as much notice as possible.
If you are unwell or displaying symptoms of a cold, virus, or infection please make sure to cancel your appointment to eliminate any possibility of passing something onto myself or any clients within my clinic.
If you have any localised skin infections which may affect treatment please do let me know during consultation and the area will be omitted from treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Loose fitting, comfortable clothes if possible.
-
Whatever feels most comfortable to you though I do ask for lower underwear to be kept on throughout all treatments.
I will only expose areas when working on them and fully cover/drape the rest of your body with towels and blankets throughout your treatment.
-
Whilst some deep tissue treatments may challenge the tissue, I will always be working at a pressure within your level of tolerence.
I use the ‘seven system’, a simple way for you to communicate sensations and experience to me. I never want to take clients to a 10, by saying 'seven’ I know immediately where your limits lie and not to push further. I want to be working in partnership with you and your nervous system and that takes trust and a relaxed state.
-
Though there may be times where I suggest quiet might be better for the treatment, I am happy to be led by you and either chat away or have a lovely, calm and serene session.
-
Absolutely. I will check in throughout your session but am always happy to get some feedback. I want you to get the most out of your treatment and that includes finding the right pressure for you.
-
This is completely normal and there is no need to apologise for anything (not shaving legs, excema, acne, wet hair or having your bad underwear on). These are all the things that make us human beings so don't worry about it.
If you do, however, want any area omitted from treatment please be sure to alert me to this at the beginning of your session.
-
If you happen to fall asleep during your session I look as this as a compliment that you're relaxed enough to catch some z's!
-
As much as I would like to say no, unfortunately, there are some conditions which require caution and if unsure or concerned it is always best to get consent from your GP prior to booking.
as a general rule, if your body is under a lot of pressure from healing or going throught treatment then a deep pressured massage may not be the one for you.
